Today new photos have been leaked online that have potentially leaked the new logos and jerseys for the Anaheim Ducks and they are not being received well.
The Anaheim Ducks are confirmed to be changing up their jerseys and logos this summer. Today a new set of photos claims to be a leaked version of what is to come from the Anaheim Ducks.
The jerseys show a return to their original Mighty Ducks era logo but with the current color scheme. However, the Ducks have doubled down and increased the amount of orange in the jerseys if they intend to use these. This choice for mainly orange jerseys has not been received well.
Earlier this month this concept was also rumored to be the look by Icethetics who also confirmed a rebrand for the Los Angeles Kings is coming. The Kings will also return to an old logo but keep their current color scheme.
Getting more updates since posting the new #JerseyWatch video yesterday.
I can now confirm #GoKingsGo and #FlyTogether will have new uniforms AND new primary logos next season!
Rebrand bonanza coming to SoCal this summer. Both should be out by the #NHLDraft.
BREAKING: The LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks will be rocking retro-inspired NEW jerseys and logos starting next season
If these reports are all accurate we should see both sets of jerseys debut in the next week or so before the draft. Then the NHL Draft will be the first time we see them in action on players and potentially staff.
Fans will have to get used to this new look for both teams. While many fans wanted a full return to the purple and teal of the Mighty Ducks era a logo change is a smaller step in the right direction for the time being.
