The Boston Bruins have officially announced their decision to assign their talented rookie, Matt Poitras, to Team Canada for the upcoming 2024 World Junior Championship in Sweden.
It's important to note that this reassignment is not a reflection of Poitras' performance on the ice, but a deliberate choice by the Bruins to allow him the opportunity to represent Team Canada.
Poitras scored 13 points, including five goals in 27 games for the Bruins this season.
He'll play an important role with Team Canada. We can't wait to see what he'll bring to the tournament.
