According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, if the Penguins are open to moving star forward Jake Guentzel, then there is one clear landing spot for him.
Given the recent rumours, this should come as no shock, as the Oilers have already added Corey Perry, and would love to find another star alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
In 47 games for the Penguins this season, Guentzel has tallied 50 points, so one can only wonder just how good he would be alongside this star forward group in Edmonton.
Ultimately though, this move would come with the sacrifice of assets that the Oilers could use to land a star defenseman or a solid backup goaltender, but for now, it's clear that they're looking to go all-in for a Stanley Cup, and that could mean multiple moves are coming.
