Fleury has always been known for a flashy glove hand and tonight it was on full display as he made a save of the year candidate on Yegor Chinakhov.
While this save was certainly impressive, it wasn't even his best of the game. Late in the third period he was on his way to the bench with the Wild down a goal but he suddenly had to turn around and make a desperation save after a turnover in his own zone. Remarkably, the Wild would immediately go down the ice and tie the game on the same play.
The night was not over for Fleury. The late goal forced overtime in which the Wild were able to complete the most unlikely of comebacks. In the process, Fleury picked up his 551st career NHL win, tying himself with Patrick Roy for 2nd all time among NHL goaltenders.
Fleury could not have tied the record in a more dramatic fashion if he tried.
As seen on Marc-Andre Fleury makes one of the best saves of the season to help his team make epic comeback
