In breaking news, the Nashville Predators have officially added a new defenseman to their roster.

Nashville Predators Sign Defenseman Kevin Gravel

Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz has confirmed the signing of defenseman Kevin Gravel to a two-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.

Gravel, currently the Admirals captain, has posted six points (1 goal, 5 assists) and a +6 rating in 36 appearances this season.

This marks Gravel's second year with the Predators after joining in July 2022. In the 2022-23 season, he played for the Milwaukee Admirals, contributing 13 points in 49 games and three points in 12 postseason appearances. Gravel also played 23 games for Nashville last season.

Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 2010, Gravel brings experience from 358 AHL contests, recording 93 points and a +41 rating. His NHL career includes 132 games with stints in Edmonton, Toronto, and Nashville. Before turning pro, Gravel played four seasons for St. Cloud State University, where he captained the team and helped win the NCHC regular-season title in 2013-14.
