The New York Rangers are under fire after being spotted partying ahead of their game against the Montreal Canadiens.

NHL teams like playing in Montreal. Many players came forward saying that the Bell Center is their favorite arena to compete in, and the nightlife is incredible in the city. A lot of teams decide to schedule their rookie dinners or team-building activities in Montreal, to enjoy what the city has to offer.

On Sunday night, the New York Rangers were already in Montreal for their game against the Canadiens set to go down Tuesday night. A French media outlet reported that Rangers players were spotted at two Montreal bars renowned for their parties.

"Oh! The New York Rangers players took advantage of their days off in Montreal to party.

They were spotted at Terrasse Carla and La Voûte yesterday (Sunday).

It might have been their rookie dinner; many teams like to hold such events in Montreal." *Translated from French

The Rangers can take time to party, as they are currently enjoying a very good start to the season. In five games, the team hasn't lost a game yet, with a 4-0-1 record. With how they partied in Montreal, it'll be interesting to see if it'll affect their performances on the ice tonight.

Fans are also eager to see if Artemi Panarin and Igor Shesterkin will continue to lead the Rangers to success. The forward leads the NHL in points, with six goals and six assists in five games, while the goalie, who refused a contract offer that would've made him the highest-paid goalie in the NHL, could take part in his fourth game of the season. Eyes will also be turned to Matt Rempe and Arber Xhekaj. After a disappointing clash against Reaves and the Maple Leafs, we could finally see the long-awaited fight between the two young enforcers.
