In breaking news, the St. Louis Blues have released this former top 10 overall draft pick from their roster.

Nick Ritchie Released from St. Louis Blues Roster

As reported by Andy Strickland, today the St. Louis Blues have released Nick Ritchie from his professional tryout agreement with the team.

Ritchie was a former 10th overall pick by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2014 NHL entry draft. He played 5 seasons with the Ducks before moving to the Bruins, and then the Leafs for a year.

This was likely one of his last opportunities to make an NHL roster.
