James Van Riemsdyk signs PTO deal with Western Conference team

1000-game veteran free agent forward James Van Reimsdyk has signed a new professional tryout offer (PTO) with the Seattle Kraken, according to multiple reports.

As teams finalize their rosters before training camp, several players have signed PTOs to either compete for a roster spot or add depth. Van Riemsdyk, 35, could be in either situation with Seattle.

With 1,011 NHL games under his belt and 629 career points, van Riemsdyk still has plenty to offer. Last season, he scored 38 points, including 11 goals, in 71 games for the Boston Bruins.
