Predators Struggle Despite Lots of Talent on Roster
The Nashville Predators have one of the best goalies in the NHL, but they're still struggling.
Juuse Saros, who played in 13 games this season, only managed to win four games. He has a 3.23 GAA and a .892 SV%.
With the Preds' struggles, trade rumours have started to spread. Could Saros be traded this season? If Barry Trotz, the Predators' GM, decides to trade him, Nashville could get a very interesting return.
Many teams would be interested to get him, including the Edmonton Oilers, but it doesn't seem like it'll happen.
Predators Have no Intention of Moving Saros
Nashville reportedly has no intention of moving him.
Saros, 28, will be a key member of the team when they're ready to contend again.
I understand that there's (trade) rumors out there. There'll be rumors from the top teams, but that's not our intention with Saros."
"I think Saros and Roman Josi and Filip Forsberg, those three are where you start, and we're trying to add some good people."
The team's core is destined for greatness, and Trotz knows it.
