A wild scene broke out tonight when a Calgary Flames rookie went berserk and attacked Brad Marchand. As a result of the brutal attack, the player was ejected from tonight's game.

Flames Rookie Ejected For Brutal Destruction Of Marchand

Early on in the game between the Flames and Bruins Brad Marchand was driving toward the net as the Flames goalie made a save. In typical Marchand fashion, he gave a shove and a slash to the Flames goalie.

Flames rookie Martin Pospisil did not take kindly to this and went nuts on Marchand. He brutally attacked Marchand trying to bring as much destruction as possible.

Pospisil popped Marchand in the face with a vicious punch. Eventually, the scrum would be broken up and penalties would be handed out. Pospisil would get a five-minute major and a game misconduct ending his day.

The ejection likely won't be the only punishment that Pospisil will face. Flames fans will have to patiently wait and see what kind of hearing he might have for his actions.

As more developments are made in this situation we will keep the information up to date.
